This one-day instructor-led course provides students with an overview of the features and functions of Microsoft Access.

• Create a navigation form that users can click to display and work with forms and reports.
• Provide users with easy access to the objects they need to work with.
• Use startup options to display or hide features
• Password-protect a database.
• Organize a database into back-end and front-end components to speed up its performance over a network.
• Create a secure database file so that users can view and update data but not change base objects.
• Back up the database.
• Run Access utilities to optimize the database’s performance
• Customize the program options to suit their working style.
• Turn off a tab and customize groups on the tab.
• Make new commands available on the Quick Access Toolbar
